Hi everyone,

I like to listen to my iPod Classic at night while I'm going to sleep but the lowest volume setting is too loud with the Sennheiser earbuds I'm using.

I know you can lower the volume of the tracks in the iTunes metadata editor, but then my music is too quiet during the day.

Is there a simple software solution to this problem? I'd like to avoid buying some piece of hardware, but I'm aware that an inline volume control of some sort may be the only solution.

Still working on my random crashes...

in the meantime, is there a way - and if so, how do I do it - to burn a quicktime mov file to scd format on a cdrom that will play in a dvd player? A buddy and me are giant movie buffs, and what I would like to do is burn a cd of the new movie trailers on apple.com every week or so that I can then play on his dvd player.

(it would have to be a scd, as I don't have a superdrive, just a cd burner)

Any suggestions?

I would like to know if it is possible to boot and run Windows 7 off of an external hard drive. I have looked around a little, and it seems that I need to format a hard drive to make it able to boot right.

Is this right? And how should I go about formatting it?

Also, should I use bootcamp to boot it off of the external, if it is even possible?
If not, what should I use?

I am looking to be able to use both Windows and Mac (not at the same time), and I thought this would be a way to accomplish that.

Are you talking about a favicon? You generate a favicon.ico icon of your choice, and then upload it to root directory of your website (where the site's main index file is stored).

According the the Apple site, the iPad will be on sale in their retail store at 5 PM. I guess I'll just order mine from the online store. I really don't want to sit in line for 12 hours.

Hello!

I currently own 2 old style Xboxes. The first one I got second hand and the cd drive broke after plenty of use. I had enjoyed the console so went out and bought another to replace it and this still works perfectly to date. However, I have just come across the old one clearing stuff out and would like to make some use of it, but have no idea what I can do without a working CD drive?

Any ideas??

I know this is more of a 'current affairs' thing but...

On your iMac or MBP open up the Address Book. Create a group called MINE and one called HUSBAND. Then drag and drop all of your contacts into the appropriate list. Next time you sync your iPhone, tell it to only sync the group called MINE and none of the contacts that were put into the other group will sync to your phone.
