Its a shame that they still promote the 50,000 GC visas for the so called "diversity" program. And yet don't care about the 100's of thousands folks who are legally here and aspiring to assimilate with the American society and paying huge taxes (H1's do pa more taxes then citizens).

I called USCIS they said , it is an batch update - no information they can provide. I am not sure what it means.
Does any one else got soft LUD around this date ?

I don't think you read his question- He/She wanted to know if the FP can be done in an American Consulate General in India if he gets his FP notice while he/she is in India.
Does anyone know of this situation and if any consulate in India can do the FP?
If you get your FP notice while in the US go to the ceter any day at 7.45 am before the center opens and request the staff to do the FP.They generaly oblige.I did it in Los Angeles.

I went for H1B stamping, but i know a friend of mine went for F1 (PhD) extension and had to go through the same process. I called Dept. of State multiple times, dont expect a polite response. They may even say it may take years. Thats what they told me the day before i got the visa. Dont worry your wife will get the visa eventually. Tell her to enjoy India in the mean time like i did on my forced vacation.

Hello guys,
Need little advice from you guys.
My wife is having her citizenship interview and oath ceremony on April 30th.
My AOS Documents are almost ready and i am just waiting for her to become US Citizen. I just need her Naturalization certificate which i can attach with my I-130 application as proof of her citizenship.
after she become citizen, should i wait for a week or 2, before i send my AOS application to USCIS or just send it right away.??? if i send my application on the same day she become citizen........does that gonna create any problem for my AOS case ???

I got FP notice inside 2 weeks of submitting my EAD application. I am in TSC. Again FP depends on when you last Finger prints. I dont everyone 'HAS' to get FP.
We both have had ours taken. First one in 2007 (July 2007 filing) and second in 2008. Does that mean we are not reqd to take any FPs? Pl advise.

If yes then you should be fine but with or without original 797 and no stamping in passport it will be difficult to get into USA. Unless you have AP to get back into USA. Hope this help. Good luck for your travel tomorrow.

What happens if I am in the 6th year of my H1, have the LC and I140, both approved from my current employer, and file for H1 extension while waiting on the retrogression...By all means, I will get the 3 year extension...
But, here's what is interesting I also have a concurrent H1 with another employer since the 5th year of my 6 year stay from the day I first entered on a H1. Assuming I have the LC and I140 approved on my 1st H1 and get the 3 year extension past the 6 years, can I get a similar 3 year extension on the concurrent H1?
Can anyone shed some light on it?
