Ok.. I spoke to the USCIS customer service. They want me to refile I -131 either e-file or paper based and send the original (wrong picture AP) along with it and also all the supporting documents (passport copies, etc)

Even my employer never handed me a copy of L/C and i 140 petition, though I did not pressurise them. They just told me they will send and that never happened.

The amendment was filed way back in sep 2007 and they got the RFE in Nov 2008....
The amendment is denied because of the Annual salary specified & also because we couldn't get the End client letter(Client told me that it's company police not to provide such type of letter). we provided main vendor contract.
Please answer these questions, before I can put my opinion.

Hey, I didn't know you've seen my cameras, Mats! ;) GEEVER, Mats advice is right on. Both Canon and Nikon have excellent reliability, and there are only a couple of moving parts on a digital SLR. If it takes a picture when you look at it, it will probably be just fine.
In both Canon and Nikon, you have a fine selection of great lenses for the future. If you buy an old camera body now, like a Canon 300D, D60, 10D, etc. or the Nikon equivalents, you can spend more money on good lenses, and then upgrade camera bodies later. You don't get your money back reselling these cameras (though you save a lot compared to developing film!), and the older 6 mega-pixel cameras are just fine for printing 8x10s for your wall. It's not a bad strategy to get "into photography" if you're on a budget.

My state in four lines
1) Came to US on F-1 Visa, never completed my masters
2) Shifted to H-1B and i have been with the same client and havent been to India for four years.
3) Now i am doing part time MBA from a top Ivy league school and i have $40,000 in loans from my MBA. i have not finished it as yet.
4) Applied for labor and priority date is Jan 2007 and i wanted to apply for 1-485 and AP and Skip H-1B stamping
But because of the july 2nd i cant do that anymore and i will have to go to H-1B stamping. I wonder what will happen if my stamping gets rejected. If dont attend classes for 4 months. My student loan will start asking for monthly payments. I am in a quagmire.
But still i have decided that i will go to India in any case and if payments become overdue for more months. I dont know what to do.
I had so many hoped on the current numbers . Any idea guys what can i do?

points mentioned in posts 2,3 4 and 5 are 100% correct.
points mentioned in post 6 can be considered but companies wont agree for that, They wont accept the suggestions/points given by employee.
Exactly same thing happened in my case. Our company prepared position description,posted ads and just before filing PERM,they said we got enough resumes and we found candidates. We cannot file green card. If economy improves after 6 months we will review the scenario and start the process all over again and I was schocked to hear that answer. They received 25 resumes for my position.

Green card dream is over. Now it's the time to get back to India or other countries.

to come.

guys,
does texas service center still accept phone calls using the old method?...i tried calling today and it said no iio available at 2p.m texas timing....i tried till 4 ...no luck...should i drive all the way to the uscis office?or can i try tomorrow?anybody called today and got response?

As you understand there is no magic correct solution to this situation, but, whichever decision you make about which line your mother-in-law stands in, she should be well prepared to document her intention to return to her home abroad after her visit to the US. My original H1 expired last week. And I do have EAD. But need to bring my spouse in few months on H4. So can i use my EAD while H1 MTR is filed. And then go back on H1.
You cannot use EAD to bring your wife,you need an approved H1.

I was reading the USA Today articles and I have a suggestion...guys please try to do spell check before you submit to such forums. It looks bad on us especially when we call ourselves skilled immigrants.
One glaring error that I saw was this guy with a MBA from Stanford Univ and he wrote it as "Standford Univ"......Is there a univ called "Standford"???? I tried googling it but did not find it...I hope it was not somebody from our group....
It could be key board of the computer not working right .. ;)
I will not worry too much about it . .. For those who do not have lot time to check spellings, I would suggest to put a disclaimer on the top, "you may encounter spell mistakes due to key boadd not functioning right." :D
